There are some 160 members across a wide spectrum including professional and semi-professional artists, serious and hobby amateurs and also non-practitioners who want to know more about art. All are welcome.

The Society meets on two evenings a month at the Bassil Shippam Centre with a full programme of talks, demonstrations, workshops etc. Meetings run from 6-9pm. Doors open at 6pm with notices at 6.30 and the main event from 6.45 - 8.45 with a break for refreshments

Members can also enter for the nine awards we make every year and enter work in the annual exhibition at the Oxmarket Centre in central Chichester. There are daytime groups for Life Drawing and Portrait Painting as well as sketching outings. We also have a lending library of books, videos and DVDs.
